On True Winners

And the Value of Being the Best.

What's the point of playing if you can't win the game? Ask my family and they'll overwhelm you with stories of childhood tantrums and sore-loser-syndrome from yours truly. I never understood why everyone's-a-winner caught on as well as it did, except, perhaps, to appease the losers. Yes, I said it: The Losers. Enjoy!

  1. What's wrong with recognizing the true outstanding player on the team.? I'll tell you what:the kid is only seven years old, for goodness sake! And if you don't think that kid loves that award-nonetheless-have another talk with your kid.Everyone IS a winner at seven-eight-nine-ten years old. I think that mom is the one who has a problem: teaching her kid about failure at that age is unfair, sad. Just my opinion, but I (still)wave my (adult!) kids' flags every chance I get. So obnoxious, I know ;)))
