Once Upon a Time...
Every once in a while when I'm at work and asked to sign a series of papers (usually never more than three at a time, for computer clearance or time sheets), I'm reminded of (one of) my favorite childhood make believe games - "(the) Office." Various version of these unpaid hours of entertainment always consisted of the same stack of post-it notepads requiring my very important signature (before I learned cursive, of course), as (imaginary) clients waited in a (nonexistent) room while I cleared my (fictionally) busy schedule to (not) meet them in person.
