On Unexpected Mail
Pleasant Surprises.
While the joy experienced from snail mailing a gift is frequently one-sided, given that you can't actually see the reaction of the person discovering-and then opening-the carefully selected item, the concept of receiving unexpected postal mail must be a near universal happiness. And it's with this hope and understanding that I excitedly prepare birthday and holiday gifts alike, each fall, winter, and spring, for the few friends (and family members) whose joy I can distinctly imagine. Enjoy!
