OMG, LOL, SOS!
During mass-family email and text exchanges of hilarious and often inappropriate must-see's, nothing beats the succinct yet direct response from my (semi-)computer-savy mother - LOL. Often torn between disappointment over her unnecessary brevity and gratification over her undeniable hipness, I often COL (Chuckle Out Loud) at the thought of her 'control button' extravaganza ("control"-L-O-L) to make a point well-taken.
